How To Write A Marketing Email That Brings You More Customers

Making an attractive marketing email might be a difficult task. As you would not like to waste time and effort creating and sending out promotional emails, if it is going to fall on deaf ears. You do not only have to make sure you create the email properly, but also ensure you are aiming the correct people at the correct place.

So, to solve the issue of marketing emails, here I have discussed some effective techniques to make your promotional email stand out.

1. Your email design should be simple as large images take more time to load. It is not a good thing when you are attempting to grab somebody’s attention, and a lot of people don’t go through images or HTML formatting in their email for security purpose. If you make use of images, then insert tags so that people who do not load images can still get some details.

2. Avoid using ALL CAPS as it does not look good and do not use excessive exclamation points. Always keep in mind that your reliability is inversely proportional to the number of exclamation points used in your message.

3. Personalize each email to give it a personal touch. For example, “Dear Chris” would be more effective than “Attention All.”

4. Ignore including file attachments because people would not open attachments from a sender they do not recognize, so you should not include them.

5. Make use of an individual account which has a person’s name, not an address that looks automated. Would you like to open an email from [email protected]?

6. Create a subject line that is precise, to the point, and that connects the recipient. Think about a teaser such as “Is your network safe?” if you have the business of network security.

7. Start with a question that points out the value of your product or service to that customer. It is the best way to start a conversation and increase the customer’s interest.

8. Keep your point in front of users very clearly and concisely. Develop the reader’s attention towards your product or service and how you or your products can help them. Do not waste your reader’s time.

9. Explain your customers that what you can do for them. Add a sentence or two about how you have helped other customers. Be as specific as probable.

10. Conclude with a powerful call to action. Ask your recipients to follow a link to your website for more details.
